CONFERMENT OF CHIEFTAINCY TITLE, EMAWE I OF OSOSO ON PRINCE DELE OBAITAN

Former Edo State Honourable Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora, Prince Bamidele Obaitan, a royal son of Ososo Kingdom, son of the Late Olososo of Ososo, Oba Anselm Obaitan, the Ichama II of Ososo Kingdom, was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Emawe I of Ososo Kingdom. The month long ceremony ended on Wednesday, 29th November, 2023 in Ososo, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, after undergoing several preparations for the title. The event brought to fore once again Ososo cultural beauty. The Ekpodos (titled women) were not left out. All the Chiefs and other title holders graced the occasion. Family, Friends from far and near came to support the Prince in his quest to become one of the cherished title holders in Ososo. Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion are the Otaru of Igarra Kingdom and High Chief Omobayo Marvellous, the Ogbokpokponase Gbaragada I of Akoko-Edo. Princess Rebecca Ibbs Obaitan was spotted adorning Ososo traditional attire (Ulalo) and was fully by the husband throughout the ceremony. Here is PITO wishing you a wonderful and blessed reign.
